Lolita Carrico
Lolita CarricoCo-Founder & CMO
Long before the word “mompreneur” entered our lexicon, Lolita was already blazing trails as a true media pioneer as founder of

One of the first major online destinations focused on mothers, ModernMom offered advice, a vibrant community, large events, and local meet-ups. ModernMom pioneered many successful and non-traditional marketing strategies, including influencer networks and subscription boxes, and it was among the first platforms to offer engaging and interactive video content and live streams – nearly 20 years ago! Brand partners included Ford, Procter & Gamble, Estee Lauder, General Mills, Got Milk and many others.

After selling ModernMom, Lolita has pursued other entrepreneurial ventures and focused on helping startups and Fortune 500 companies achieve meaningful brand awareness and sustainable growth. She works with leading high tech and financial services companies, as well as cutting edge biotech and wellness trailblazers, while also advising small, female-owned businesses, which is a personal passion.

Lolita has been featured on dozens of news programs discussing the balancing act of motherhood and entrepreneurship, and has also been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Fast Company and Business Insider among other leading news outlets, podcasts and blogs.

A single mom, Lolita lives beachside in Los Angeles with her teen sons. She’s perfected the art of crafting delicious keto cocktails (and meals to go with them).

Linda Friedman
Linda FriedmanEditorial Director
A veteran content and social media pro, Linda started her career in magazines, at InStyle, Teen People and Us Weekly.

Linda pivoted to digital as editor-in-chief of E! Online, where she kept up with the Kardashians for over 5 years. That’s a lot of breaking nails, er, news. She is particularly proud of #BUILTBYGIRLS (a movement encouraging young women to embrace technology to fuel their dreams), which she helped create at AOL’s millennial platform Linda recently followed her own passion into the health and wellness space, heading up digital content and social media at Forks Over Knives and CANN Media Group, a B2B cannabis and CBD media startup.

Linda lives in Calabasas (coincidence, she swears!), where she loves running the stairs, playing tennis and hiking with her husband and two teenage sons.

Ann Nguyen
Ann NguyenVP, Content Operations & Creative
Straddling the worlds of production management and creative ideation, Ann was a multi-hyphenate before it was cool.

Trained in theater from a young age, Ann leveraged her instinct for creative details and logistical know-how to work on award-winning digital marketing campaigns for major entertainment studios like Sony Pictures, Fox Searchlight, and Paramount.

After a decade on the studio lot, Ann founded her own agency, LODESTAR, before shifting her focus toward the Tech and Clinical Research areas. As Director of Creative Operations at Science 37, she built a full-service, in-house Media and Marketing department for a rapidly-growing, telemedicine startup.

Ann is a SoCal native who enjoys cooking, fiber arts and DIY – all with a focus on sustainability and environmental consciousness (avocado pit fabric dye, anyone?). She flexes her creative writing muscle as Co-Founder and Creative Director for Loala Cards, a line of greeting cards served with a dash of salt. In her spare time, Ann is also a nano-influencer and Instagram content curator for one of Nintendo’s most popular video game franchises.
